Baby & Toddler ClinicsThis is a drop in session for babies and children. You can have your baby weighed and measured. Then discuss any health, social or development queries with our Health Visitor.
Thursday 10.00 – 11.30 am
in the Community Room off our Surgery waiting area.
These are held on Wednesday mornings. Immunisations are an important part of protecting your child’s health. If you need further information about vaccinations, please discuss your concerns with the Health Visitor or Doctor. An appointment for your child's immunisation will be sent to you. Information about the immunisations can be found here.
Development and BehaviourAt present all children are offered a check at 6-8 weeks old and again at 8 months old but this is currently under review and may change. If you have any concerns, please speak to your Health Visitor or one of our Doctors.
Please attend the baby clinic prior to this appointment to have your baby’s height and weight measured.
At 2 years old all families are sent an information pack and questionnaire “Your Childs Development and Behaviour”. Please complete the questionnaire and return it to the Surgery.
Research shows that parents' concerns are an accurate way of screening a child’s development. If you are worried about your child's development, please contact the Health Visitor.
