The Acorn Surgery, first established in 2001, is a medium-sized Practice based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire (click here for map) We're a new, modern, forward-thinking Surgery working closely with our patients and carers to continuously improve what we do. Our Surgery premises are fabulous, offering bright clean consulting rooms overlooking quiet landscaped garden areas. There is a range of other community services on site including a pharmacy, dentist, chiropodist, children's services, family planning and sexual health clinics, to name a few.
Our aim is to be polite and courteous to all our patients, as we are here to help you. We expect our patients to treat us in a similarly respectful way. If you consider that you have been treated inappropriately or unfairly in any way, please ask the reception staff to contact the Practice Manager who will be happy to address any concerns you may have.
We take very seriously any threatening, abusive or violent behaviour towards our staff or other patients and this will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Patients who act in this way may be removed from the Practice's list, immediately if necessary, as it is our right as a Surgery to do so.
The Practice is growing steadily and the number of patients registered with the Acorn Surgery is now over eight thousand (8,000). We have worked hard to gain an excellent reputation and, as one of our patients recently said,
"everyone at the Acorn is really superb. They make you feel like you are the only patient on their books as they always make time to listen and show that they really care. All of the staff are excellent in every way and I have recommended to my friends and neighbours that they make the switch and register with the Acorn!"
