Dear Patient

We have now successfully upgraded our Clinical Records and IT system. Thank you for your patience, understanding and support during this transition period.

Patients can also be sent SMS text reminders regarding their booked appointments, if they wish. Receptionists will ask at the time of booking if you would like to use this facility.

We are pleased to announce that patients will soon be able to have direct access to appointment booking, using a personal registration log-in ID via ‘SystmOnLine’. Further details on this will follow shortly.

acorn surgeryOur Practice philosophy has always been to respond positively to each individual patient's needs and to work in partnership with other health care professions, underlining our holistic approach to health care. Simply expressed, our mission statement is "we strive to provide the same quality of care we would expect our own families to receive".

We are a medium-sized Practice with an enthusiastic team dedicated to developing a modern service. The surgery is located within a purpose-built community medical centre, which also offers a dental surgery, chiropody service, pharmacy, family planning and sexual health clinics, child health services and other community-related services all with areas accessible to the disabled.

We offer a range of services and, to offer better access to people who cannot get to the surgery in normal hours (8am - 6pm), we now open at 7am on Tuesdays and until 8pm on Thursdays.

prescriptions

We operate a very flexible system for ordering repeat prescriptions, ie by phone, email, via the website, in person, by fax or by post.  Click here to order your prescription on line and click here for more information on how to get your repeat medications.

We would appreciate your support with our request that you turn off your mobile phone whilst in the surgery.
