
GPs are contracted by the Primary Care Trust to deliver a range of NHS services to patients registered with the Practice.
GPs can also choose to deliver additional services which are not funded by their NHS contract and, as such, attract a fee.
These range from provision of medical services to patients who are not eligible under the NHS and therefore can be seen as private patients, to special blood tests, medical reports provided to solicitors and some immunisations required for travel.
