We became a Training Practice in 2002. Doctors who want to become GPs continue their training with us and work in our Clinical Team as part of this training.  All are qualified doctors and whilst they are with us are fully supervised by our GP Trainers.  You may be offered an  appointment with one of our training doctors.  We regularly have medical students at the Practice, together with student nurses and occasionally pharmacy students part of their specific professional training; you may be asked if a student can sit in on your consultation and you can, of course, decline this request but we will always ensure we have your consent.

We are a 'Research Active Practice' involved in national studies and research projects and you may be asked if you wish to take part in a research study of some kind.  This offers our patients the opportunity to become involved in a range of areas of research and can benefit from such involvement.  You are completely at liberty to decline any request to take part in a research trial and your full consent will always be obtained before being included in a study.
